BJJ Black Belt, MMA Fighter
David Tepper started his training in his teenage years doing TKD and joining the high school wrestling team. He began training with coach Joe Cunningham in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA with coach Francisco Salguero in 2008 and started dominating the local BJJ and amateur MMA scene. He has competed in NAGA, US Grappling, Copa NOVA, and other BJJ and submission grappling tournaments on the east coast. He earned his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2019.
Coach David is also one of our Mixed Martial Arts fighters. His MMA record currently is 5-1 with all 5 of his wins coming via submission in the first round. He is also a blue belt in Judo and has competed in Judo tournaments. Dave an assistant BJJ and Muay Thai coach for Yamasaki Academy of Woodbridge.
